Welcome to Thanet's Gateway Plus, where you can gain access to a wide range of public and voluntary services under one roof, in the heart of Margate.
Within the Gateway we provide: Local Council Services and Kent County Council Libraries & Archives services and also work with 25 partner agencies to deliver a full programme of Gateway Services. Thanet District Council Services and Kent County Council Libraries & Archives services are provided at all times during Gateway opening times.
*Council service desks will be open from 9am to 1pm

Meet & Greet desk is open until 5pm to offer general advice, payments and taking documents over the counter for scanning the following Monday.
Library hours remain unchanged.

Thanet's Gateway Plus is committed to providing local residents with access to public and 3rd sector services, and also provides residents with the opportunity to develop their skills. We are currently developing a series of training courses to be held at the Gateway.
If you;
and receive pension credit, income-related employment and support allowance (ESA(IR)), income support or income-based Jobseeker's allowance, then you could be eligible for help switching over to digital TV!
Thanet's Gateway Plus is committed to providing services that meet the needs of the community and ensuring that all customers are provided with excellent customer care. We have a programme of customer consultation and we regularly seek feedback from our customers on how we are doing.
The You Said We Did displays within the Gateway and online, gives us the opportunity to show customers that we have listened to them and have acted upon their suggestions to improve our services.
