What is a Publication Scheme ?

Our Publication Scheme sets out the classes of information which Thanet District Council publishes, or intends to publish, which has been approved by the Information Commissioner. The Publication Scheme lists

• how to get hold of the information and
• indicates if there is a charge for the information

The Publication Scheme will be regularly reviewed and updated as new items are published. We will also add more information as we understand better what information you may want from us.

Model publication scheme as from 1 January 2009

As a result of the Publication Scheme Development and Maintenance Initiative the ICO has introduced a model publication scheme for all public sector organisations which we adopted from 1 January 2009.
