Welcome to Thanet District Council's online payment service.

Please note that online payments are credited to the relevant account within three working days of payment.

1. To pay:
   • Business Rates (National Non-Domestic Rates) , Council Invoices, Council Mortgages, Council Rents (Housing and Garages), Council Tax and Housing Benefit overpayments - link to our online payment pages (opens new browser page).
     
   • Your actual card transaction will take place on a secure bank server. Streamline is a service provided by WorldPay (UK) Ltd on behalf of National Westminster Bank plc. 
     
     
2. Use the links below to pay:
   • Your Parking Fine
   • Fixed Penalty Notice (Dog Fouling, and littering)
   • Garden waste collection 
   • Building Control Fees (To pay Building Inspection invoices, go to online payments and select Council Invoices)

Which payment cards can I use?

Using this service, you can make a payment for a number of our services using a credit or debit card. Thanet Council accepts the following payment cards and does NOT make a surcharge for using them to pay your bills:

What information will I need to supply?

To make a payment you will need to provide the account references for the items you wish to pay - these are printed on your invoice or statement so please have this available.

You may pay for up to 10 items in one transaction.  To make your payment you will also be required to supply your name and address to support your payment card details.

Will I receive a receipt?

Once you have completed your payment, you will be able to print a receipt.

Names and addresses are not included in receipts generated by this website to maximise your security online.

Who manages the service?

This facility is administered by the Customer Services Department of the Council.

Payments are processed and validated by a secure service managed by the Council's Card Services Provider, Royal Bank of Scotland Streamline e-Solutions. Your card details will only be used by the bank to collect your payment and at no time will they be stored by the Council or be visible or accessible outside the secure banking network.
