How can I find what I need?

Our site is arranged into sections which are displayed in the navigation box on the left.  Click on any of these headings to display the pages within them and move through the site.

 

As well as the navigation box, every page has a trail of 'breadcrumbs' showing you currently where you are on the site e.g.

You can click on any of the 'breadcrumbs' to jump to that section.  Clicking on the Thanet District Council logo at the top of the page also returns you to the homepage. Additionally you can use the 'back button' in your browser to visit previous pages you have visited.

 

A-Z of Services

A comprehensive alphabetical list of services offered by the Council is available using the A-Z link at the top of every page beneath the logo bar.

 

Search Engine

You can search all of the pages on this website by typing your query into the search box at the top of every page directly beneath the Thanet District Council logo, and pressing the 'Go' button.

A complete list and structure of the pages on this site is available using the [Site Map] link at the top of every page beneath the logo bar.

 

How do I get back to this site if I leave it?

If you want to come back to this site at any time, you can type in the address in the address bar and then press return on your keyboard. A good idea is to add this page to your favourites, in Internet Explorer click on Favourite > add to favourites > the address of our site is http://www.thanet.gov.uk/.

 

Then name the page something that you will remember. If you are using Netscape Navigator – go to Bookmarks.
