Hints for downloading Acrobat files
There are two ways to down load PDFs,
- Right click on the PDF link.
- Select 'save target as' from the pop-up menu.
- Select the appropriate folder on your computer and click
'Save'. This saves the document on your computer.
Or
- Open the PDF by double-clicking on it.
- Click the save icon on the Acrobat toolbar (first icon on the
left, looks like a floppy disk)
- Select the appropriate folder on your computer and click
'Save'. This saves the document on your computer.
To Download a form
- Right-click the name of the form and choose 'Save Target
As'.
- Select the appropriate folder on your computer and click
'save'. Do not at this stage change the name of the document. Once
you have saved the blank form, you can rename it within Windows
Explorer if you wish, ensuring that it remains as .pdf file.
- This saves the document on your computer.
To complete an interactive form
- Open the file and complete the details on screen.
- Print the relevant number of copies required for your
application, sign and date them and return by post, enclosing any
payment required.
- Print out a copy of the form for your own records. (If you have
purchased a full copy of Adobe Writer, you will of course be able
to save the completed file electronically if you prefer).
Please, ensure to use the Acrobat Reader Printer rather than the
browser to print documents.
