To carry out house-to-house collections for charitable purposes in England and Wales you need a licence from the local authority.

If you have not heard from the local authority within a 10 working days, please contact it. You can do this online if you applied through the UK Welcomes service or use the contact details below.

Please note that you will be making your application to Thanet Council via Business Link’s online licensing service (UK Welcomes) . There is no charge for using this facility.

 

 
Failed Application redress

Please contact your Local Authority in the first instance.

 

You have the right to appeal to the Minister for the Cabinet Office. Appeals must be lodged within 14 days of the refusal.
