If you want to set up a direct debit for Council Tax or Business Rates payments, you can download a form from our Online forms section - just fill it in and return it to us by post.

Where your bank has a telebanking service, you can pay your bill 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Quote the Council's bank account number 67834000, sort code 60-14-05 and your account reference that appears on the front of your bill.
We have introduced Payment Cards for use at all Post Offices and PayPoint outlets for customers who prefer the convenience of a more local payment service and are paying Council Tax, Business rates, Council housing rents, Garage rents.
9am to 6pm weekdays, and Saturdays 9am - 5pm, with late night opening Thursday until 8pm.
