Expert advice and assistance is available in all areas, from finding the right site, to recruiting and training quality staff, through to developing new supply chains. Help available includes:

 

  • Property information and advice, including free property and site search services.

 

  • Business development support via a variety of local partners specialising in assisting company growth.

 

  • Recruitment and training support. Working with partners, the Council’s economic development team can co-ordinate a package of assistance, from identifying the availability of skills locally to providing training solutions.

 

  • Local economic intelligence, including information on demographics and business sectors.

 

  • Building local contacts and supply chain development to help businesses find new customers and suppliers and to network with like-minded companies.

 

Inward investors seeking to relocate or establish new businesses in Thanet, local start-up or established local businesses wishing to grow, will be offered every assistance in identifying premises, sources of grant and any available business advice that is required.
