2012 Olympics

The London 2012 Games are not just about sport - they're also about business.

Billions of pounds will be spent over the next five years in developing the infrastructure and delivering the Games. Thousands of contracts will be issued, from major construction projects to the supply of pens and paper. Contracts will also be issued for the deconstruction, redistribution and removal of a range of venues, facilities and overlay.

It is not just for big business, there will be substantial opportunities for small and medium sized businesses.

'There will be opportunities for many, many companies, either directly or indirectly, to be involved in and benefit from delivering the extensive range of goods, services and resources needed to stage the Games - from one person home-based operations to small-to-medium enterprises and big corporations.'

Paul Deighton, London Organising Committee Chief Executive

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It's not just about preparing for and winning Olympic contracts for your business. It is also an opportunity for your business to be on the international stage, to showcase your business and deliver long lasting benefits.
