What's happening with the scheme?

The Shop Local First scheme is a pilot which came to an in December 2010, we are currently deciding the schemes future and will be announcing this shortly. Businesses may continue to use the scheme, but customers should check* before using the scheme.

Can my business join?

If you are interested in joining the scheme in other parts of Thanet or are perhaps internet based, you can also ask to be added to our mailing list and you will be contacted by emailing sharon.kelley@thanet.gov.uk with your business name and contact details.  Please note, a decision is still to be made about the future of the Shop Local First scheme.

*Any business on the scheme can choose to continue or stop the incentive they offer to customers, please check with the business to avoid disappointment.
