Community Strategy

The Community Strategy sets out the goals of the East Kent Local Strategic Partnership (EKLSP), an organisation which brings together a range of community organisations including local government, healthcare, policing, voluntary groups and local businesses.

Thanet District Council is a key player within the Local Strategic Partnership and therefore has an important contribution to make, working with other partners in order to take Thanet forward.

The Local Compact is a written agreement between the voluntary and community sector and the local statutory sector improving the way they work together.
