Forward Plan
Under The Local Government Act 2000, the Council is
required to publish a monthly Forward Plan of Key Decisions
that are proposed to be taken over the coming four months.
A Key Decision is:
- an executive decision which would be significant in terms of
its impact on the community and/or
- could result in the Council incurring expenditure
or making of savings either of which is significant having
regard to the Council's budget for the service or function to which
the decision relates.
The plan details the decisions to be made and shows the position
at the date it is published. It is possible that individual
items may be advanced or deferred, or disappear altogether from
succeeding Plans if circumstances change.
The Plan is updated around the middle of each month to
take effect from the 1st of following month.
