Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places
By law, the Council must carry out a review of Polling Districts
and Polling Places on a regular four-yearly cycle. The
Council has undertaken public consultation in respect of this
occasion's review and will shortly be considering the
representations it has received.
In addition, the Returning Officer has now published his
recommendations which will also be considered by the Council at the
same time it considers representations made earlier in the
process.
The Returning Officer's scheme of proposed polling districts and
polling places can be viewed here:
Schedule of Proposed Polling Districts and
Polling Places (Word doc)
Anyone who wishes to make representations on the Returning
Officer's proposals should be sent in writing to the address below
or by email to electoral.services@thanet.gov.uk by
Friday 12 October 2007.
