A report that updates Council on recent developments and seeks Council's agreement to the processes and timetable for establishing a parish council for Ramsgate can be viewed here. 

This report was considered by Full Council on Thursday 9 October 2008.  Full Council agreed to the following:

• That the Council (in exercise of powers delegated by the Secretary of State) approves the making of an order, effective on 1 April 2009, under S.86 of the Local Government and Public Involvement Act 2007, constituting a new parish and parish council for Ramsgate.

• That the Chief Executive is authorised to settle the wording and content of the draft order.
