Making the most of our property
The next steps
An extraordinary meeting of Thanet District Council’s Cabinet is
being held to hear local people’s views on proposals to sell off 16
sites across Thanet.
The meeting will be taking place on Thursday 17 July at
1pm in the Council Chamber, Cecil Street Council Offices,
Margate.
The meeting will allow those who have already written in with
their comments to appear in person before Cabinet Members and give
their views. These people have all been written to, with details of
the meeting and how to have their say.
There is a limit of three speakers per site
and places are being allocated on a first come first served basis,
with a maximum of three minutes per speaker.
The Cabinet will then consider the views that
have been presented at the extraordinary meeting when they next
meet on 7 August at 7pm, which is when a final decision will be
made. No decisions will be taken by Cabinet at the extraordinary
meeting on 17 July.
