Thanet's beaches and bays consultation 2009

This consultation is now closed.  These pages are provided for information only.

1. Consultation overview

Each year the tourism team capture feedback from residents and visitors to the area about their experiences of visiting the beaches in Thanet.

As part of this survey, we wanted to know what people thought of the beaches they visited this summer and to tell us how satisfied they were with a number of different aspects of the beaches such as cleanliness, facilities, accessibility and signage/information.  The survey also asked people to rate their favourite beaches and to describe the characteristics of their favourite beaches.

Feedback captured from the survey is used to measure levels of satisfaction as well as helping to target resources in the team to improve the service provided on Thanet’s beaches.
