Every year Thanet District Council has to decide how to allocate council tax to fund a number of council services, and to make improvements to the service it provides to residents.
In order to fund these improvements the Council also has to decide how to make savings.
This is particularly important given the current financial climate with unsettled banking, national recession and the global credit crunch all having an effect on the council’s spending.
It is more important than ever that the Council reviews the services it delivers and the way that it delivers them so that its limited resources are used to maximum effect for local residents.
