Budget Survey - Background

Every year Thanet District Council has to decide how to allocate council tax to fund a number of council services and to make improvements to the service provided.

In order to fund these improvements the Council also has to decide how to make savings or generate income in other areas.

As part of this process residents were given an opportunity to help shape council spending and to identify what they believe should be a priority for the council in 2009-10.
