Community Safety Open Forum

Following the success of the first community safety open forums held in February 2011, regular forums are now held for residents across the whole of Thanet.

These forums take place four times a year and are held at different venues across Thanet.  Each forum is open to all Thanet residents.

The last Open Forum took place on Tuesday 6 March 2012 at Canterbury Christchurch University, Northwood Road, BROADSTAIRS.

Over 70 people attended the forum.  At the event they had the chance to:

• speak directly with the Chief Inspector of Kent Police;
• meet representatives of the council's Enforcement Services Team who cover parking and anti-social behaviour;
• find out the latest crime statistics for the whole of Thanet;
• tell us their concerns or suggestions for the local area.
