Cabinet Site Visit Procedure

I should like to point out that this site visit is being conducted in accordance with the cabinet’s site visit protocol.

The principal purpose of a site visit is to enable the cabinet to conduct a visual inspection in order to help them in making an informed decision in an open, accountable and transparent manner.

As cabinet leader and site visit chairman I will permit public speaking by up to four persons representing as wide a range of views and opinions as possible.  I will also accept representations from any ward councillor who is present. Each speaker will be limited to no more than three minutes.
