We want your views on how the council presents information on how your Council Tax is spent.

The council's summarised accounts are published at the end of each year in Thanet Matters and we would like your views to help make this information interesting and easy to understand.

The Summary of Accounts shows how public money has been spent during the year.  It highlights the resources available to the Council and how these have been used to deliver services to the public.

We want to make sure that the information we present is useful for residents so we would like you to let us know what you think about the summary, and what you would like to see in the future.

A copy of the summary can be viewed on pages 14-16 in the Winter 2008 edition of Thanet Matters.

You can also collect a copy of the summary by dropping in to Thanet's Gateway Plus or on request by e-mailing hannah.thorpe@thanet.gov.uk or by calling 01843 577120.

Once you have read our accounts tell us what you think:

• Complete our online survey
• Drop in to Thanet's Gateway Plus or the Ramsgate District Office to pick up a survey.  Return your survey free of charge to Communications, FREEPOST SEA 8273, Thanet District Council, PO Box 9, Cecil Street, Margate CT9 1XZ
