Summary of Accounts survey 2010

This consultation has now closed.  These pages are provided for information only.

1. Consultation overview

This consultation is carried out each year to gather residents' views on how the council presents information on how Council Tax is spent.

Every year the council publishes a summary of its accounts which is featured within the council's magazine Thanet Matters.  This is available for members of the public to view online, or can be made available to anyone on request.  The summary of accounts are published to show how public money has been spent during the year and highlights the resources available to the Council and details how these have been used to deliver services to the public.

The consultation asked local people to tell us if the information we presented was useful for residents and to ensure that the summary clearly showed how, and where, your council Tax is being spent.
