Money Matters
Have your say on the Summary of Accounts and also on
the spending priorities for Thanet District Council for the next
year
Every year Thanet District Council publishes the Summary of
Accounts showing how public money has been spent during the
year. It highlights the resources available to the Council
and how these have been used to deliver services to the public.
We want to make sure that the information we present is
interesting and easy to understand so we would like you to let us
know what you think about the summary, and what you would like to
see in the future.
A copy of the summary can be viewed on pages 10-13 in the
Winter edition of Thanet Matters, or view the full Statement of Accounts.
We would also like your thoughts on the proposals for how
we spend our budget to improve council services next year.
You can help to shape how next year's Council Tax will be used to
make improvements to Council services and to consider how the
Council will make savings or to generate income in order to finance
these improvements.
