In line with government direction, from January 2011 (December 2010 spend) we will publish details of supplier spend over £500 using the local spending data guidance which can be found at http://data.gov.uk/blog/local-spending-data-guidance
The data will be published below on a monthly basis with the file name including the relevant month/year and will be in the following formats:
There are 10 data fields in this release. These are all mandatory fields with the exception of the fund type column which we have added to further assist in identifying the type of spend between revenue and balance sheet
Payments to local authorities and government bodies have been included in the report but it needs to be appreciated that these payments usually represent transfer of funds and will also be included as detailed expenditure in the relevant body’s supplier spend report

Line value excluding VAT where the total transaction (transaction number) is over £500 including VAT. For example, a payment of £600.00 including VAT charged to different directorates (expense area) will show as 5 separate lines of £100.00

Name of supplier. Please note, if this is considered to be of a personal nature the supplier name will be replaced with ‘REDACTED PERSONAL DATA’ or ‘REDACTED COMMERCIAL CONFIDENTIALITY’

At some point in the future we intend to add additional discretionary data fields to the report
If you have queries about the data please e-mail supplierspend@thanet.gov.uk quoting the transaction number, amount and supplier name. We will aim to provide an acknowledgement within 3 working days and a reply to your enquiry within 10 working days
Please note that the CSV format uses a standard column width and not all entries may be completely visible. To view all the data, you will need to expand the columns. You can do this by selecting all the columns in the file, and then clicking on Format / Column / AutoFitSelection
