Financial Services - Statement of Accounts
2007/08
The Statement of Accounts for 2007/08 were approved by the
Governance and Audit Committee on 26 June 2008. This met the
statutory requirement under the Accounts and Audit Regulations to
approve and publish the Financial Accounts for 2007/08 by
30th June 2008. The accounts have now been audited and an
audited copy can be dowloaded from the link below:
2006/07
The Statement of Accounts for 2006/07 were approved by the
Governance and Audit Committee on 28 June 2007. This met the
statutory requirement under the Accounts and Audit Regulations to
approve and publish the Financial Accounts for 2006/07 by
30th June 2007.
2005/06
The Accounts and Audit regulations required that the Council
approved and published the Financial Accounts for 2005/06 by 30
June 2006. The Financial Accounts for 2005/06 were approved by
the Governance and Audit Committee on 29th June 2006.
2004/05
The Statement of Accounts for 2004/05 were approved by the
Financial Statement Sub Committee on 28 July 2005. This met
the statutory requirement under the Accounts and Audit Regulations
to approve and publish the Financial Accounts for 2004/05 by 31st
July 2005.
Under the Audit Practices Board Statements of Audit Standards
(SAS) 610, the Audit Commission are required to communicate to
those charged with governance certain matters arising from the
audit of the Council's 2004/05 Statement of Accounts, before they
can give an opinion on those accounts.
