5 Minimise Thanet’s impact on the environment by:  
5a) reducing the Council’s energy consumption by 10% by 2010 Year 3, 2010 Energy Matters is the project to reduce the Council's Energy consumption by 10% by 2010.  Launched as part of Accommodators week in November, staff were advised of consumption levels, given top tips to conserve energy and invited to participate in a quiz  All project milestones met
5b) consulting with the community on proposed new ‘green’ policies for Thanet Year 4, 2011 Awaiting development of green policies, Going Green Group has been established to develop these policies All project milestones met
