Whenever under this Contract any sum of money shall be recoverable from or payable by the Contractor to the Council the same may be deducted from any sum then due or which at any time thereafter may become due to the Contractor under this or any other contract with the Council. Exercise by the Council of its rights under this clause shall be without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to the Council under this Contract or otherwise, however, at law and in equity.
