Dreamland Public Inquiry details

The Public Inquiry into the council's bid to compulsorily purchase the Dreamland site took place between January and March 2012.

Summaries of evidence from the witnesses for the council:

• Nick Laister, Chairman of the Dreamland Trust, who will be giving evidence about the Dreamland Trust, the history of the site, the deliverability of the council and Trust's plans for the site and the viability of the amusement park.
• Jonathan Bryant, former Project Director of the Dreamland Trust. He will give evidence on the viability of the amument park.
• Ashley Hills, the council's Planning Projects Manager, who will be dealing with planning issues.
• Nick Dermott, the council's Heritage Development Advisor, who will give evidence about the history of the site and conservation issues.
