CC6 Applies. The site is located on the central chalk plateau.

Legal:

There are no specific legal issues affecting the site. However, confirmation that this area of land is not consecrated is awaited. Any disposal would require notification under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1972.

Alternative options

Retain as a storage facility but incur maintenance liability.
Dispose of the building for residential refurbishment.

Advantages/case for disposal of the Land/Property

A disposal of the site would remove the Council’s repair liability and make a better use of this under utilised building.
