Recycling
Every household in Thanet generates over one tonne
of waste each year, how much of yours is
recycled?
Thanet District Council has trebled recycling over the past two
years. This huge increase has been achieved by introducing
extra collections. We now offer a door to door collection
service in most of the district, collecting paper/card waste, if you are not already
part of the wheelie bin scheme.
All collections for recycling or composting is expensive, the
more that you take part the less these services will cost - every
gram counts, please dont 'waste' your waste take part if you can
and encourage your neighbours to do the same.

how to trim you bin
