Tenant participation in Thanet

Thanet District Council is committed to providing opportunities for tenants and leaseholders to have an equal opportunity to influence decisions on all matters concerning the management of their homes. We recognise that meaningful tenant and leaseholder participation can achieve quality improvements in the housing service. 

The Tenants and Leaseholders Consultation Agreement (pdf) is an agreement between Thanet District Council and its tenants and leaseholders to work together to develop and improve housing services. This agreement was developed with the help of tenants and leaseholders and will be monitored by the Tenants & Leaseholders Consultation Forum members

"Your Say" newsletter updates tenants and leaseholders with information about the services provided and local information about the areas in which they live.

Funding still available for 2009/2010

Do you have a bright idea that could help improve your neighbourhood?  A £25,000 grant scheme is available to tenants and leaseholders who need funding for a community project.  Tenant groups of any size can apply.  The closing date for 2009/2010 applications is 5 January 2010.
