New Estate Walkabout Events

Tenant Inspectors will be join the housing teams as well as local police and Councillors, to carry out an inspection of the estate to ensure they meet the Neighbourhood Management standard.

What the new walkabouts will offer:

• Opportunity to get rid of bulk rubbish
• Opportunity to donate unwanted hard furnishings to our Free Recycling Scheme.
• Opportunity to talk to your housing officer and rent officer.
• Opportunity to talk to Mears about an outstanding repair or to report a repair.
• Handy repair tips demonstration by Mears.
• Join the litter pickers to help clean up your area.
• Register as taking part in the event to be enter into the Annual Draw.

New Estate Walkabout Events will run from 2pm to 6pm and are planned for the following estates:

Housing Surgery

At Brunswick Court (office beside main entrance door) first Wednesday of every month 10am to 12pm for the following areas:

• Trove Court & Kennedy House
• Brunswick Court & Loughborough court
• Plains of Waterloo & La Belle Alliance Square

An opportunity to meet with your housing officer to discuss tenancy issues and any concerns you may have.

At Millmead Children’s Centre (Dane Valley Road) on 7 April 2011 from 9.30am to 11.30am for the following areas:

This is a drop in surgery for all Council Tenants and Leaseholders giving them the opportunity to meet their housing and rents officers, leasehold management and Mears

At Staner Court (Community Room beside main entrance door) first Tuesday of every month from 10am to 12pm for the following areas:
