Single Agency Assessments

A Single Agency Assessment (SAA) should be made where a service user requires re-housing due to a health/support need that cannot be met in, or is being exacerbated by, their current accommodation.

The SAA is designed to be used by statutory partner agencies and their agents, including the following.

• Social Services
• Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust Community Mental Health Teams
• Primary Care Trusts
• Occupational Therapists
• Youth Offending Service
• Probation Service
• Kent Council on Addiction (KCA)

• Principles of the Single Agency Assessment Process as agreed by the Kent Joint Policy and Planning Board (Housing).
