simply
Once received, we can confirm the cost of filming in Thanet and
provide any relevant advice you may need, for example parking or
road closures.
What then?
The completion of our film location request form does not mean
that permission to film has been granted, it simply assists us in
assessing your requirements and communicating your needs to the
relevant departments across the Council.
Once we are satisfied that all the criteria has been met,
filming permission will be sent to you in writing.
Filming Charges:
Although there are no charges made for film location enquiries,
once your film location request has been received, it will be
assessed and costs, which range from £100 - £300, may apply.
Our charges are flexible and can depend on the type of shoot
taking place. For example, charges do not apply for student or
community filming, news interviews or sound recording - but you
will still need to apply for filming permission and
provide the relevant insurance documents.
