Kent’s Leading Air and Land Festival

Set on Margate's stunning Palm Bay, Margate's Big Event has thrilling flying displays each day alongside some of the country's top street entertainers and live music. It's a great family weekend.

If you are not already one of the event's loyal fans, give it a try this summer. You won't want to miss this family friendly festival.

The event will be open from 10am until 10pm on Saturday and from 10.30am to 6pm on Sunday.

Advance tickets are now on sale for Margate’s Big Event at our Visitor information centre in Margate, 12 - 13 the Parade, Margate CT9 1EY Priced at £2.00 with children under the age of five free of charge.

Ticket holders can leave and return to the site as often as they wish during the course of the day and there is no additional charge for the concert on the Saturday evening.

This year's line up includes....

Thrilling air displays headlined by the Red Arrows with a special tribute to the Battle of Britain Anniversary
Live bands, some old and some new, catering for all tastes and ages
Some of the country's top street performers - great for all the family
Fairground - white knuckle rides as well as gentler rides for children
Saturday evening free concert and firework finale.
Beer tent, food and drink village
Convenient car parks and shuttle bus service

The Red Arrows team will be opening Kent’s leading land and air festival on Saturday 19 June, in addition to their confirmed appearance on Father’s Day on Sunday 20 June, when they will be closing the packed programme of flying.
