Don’t miss Monster Bass, the free, family weekend, when we bring to life the ancient tales of the lost lands of Lomea and its mythical guardians.

Inspired by legends of the treacherous Goodwin Sands and Ramsgate’s unique relationship with the sea comes a brand new festival for 2010.

Spectacular parade and pyrotechnics on Saturday 14^th at 9.00 pm when the Monster Bass returns to the sea off Ramsgate Sands.

And you're all invited to take part!

This spectacular opening to Sailing Week will use Ramsgate’s cosmopolitan waterfront as a backdrop for two days of live entertainment, story-telling and sea-safaris.

The star of the show will be the Monster Bass when, in a dazzling display of sound and light, the ‘guardian of the Goodwins’ makes a dramatic return to the sea on Saturday evening.
