Sport 4 NRG
Tackling young offenders with a sporting
alternative
The aim of Sport 4 NRG is to develop sport as a diversionary
activity for young people who may have offended, or may be “at
risk” of offending, in the hope that we can prevent them from
getting involved in youth crime, and divert them towards socially
acceptable leisure activities.

The age group for Sport 4 NRG is 12 – 17.
Sport 4 NRG is funded and delivered by Thanet
District Council following the successful 3-year Sport England
funded project.
