Engage Beach Blast, Margate Main Sands	Wednesday 27th July (12pm-5pm)	Beach Blast is organised by the Engage forum and brings youth organisation together to deliver an action packed fun day out on the beach. Activities include Sports delivered by the Sport Matters team, Pie factory music, Thanet Coast project, and much more. Check out the event flyer
Broadstairs Water Gala, Viking Bay	Wednesday 17th August (10am-3pm)	Come along to this years water Gala, and join the Sport Matters team with free Beach Volleyball coaching and giant games for the toddlers. Other activities on offer include the annual Neptune rise from the sea, raft race and Roc doc walks from the Thanet Coast project for more information visit the information page
Summer Blast Hartsdown Park	Wednesday 24th August (1pm-9pm)	Come along to this years family Summer Blast event which is organised by the Sport Matters team in partnership with the Engage forum. Giant inflatables from Charlton Athletic FC and Atlantis entertainment. Activities from the Sport Matters team including, Volleyball, handball and street dance. Urban Sports Warre Rec	Friday 26th August (12pm-5pm)	Join this urban action with the Urban Sports event at the warre rec ramsgate Coaching and competitions throughout the day from Revolution Skate and Climbing Centre including BMX, inline skating, skateboarding and scooter with music to create that urban vibe. Thanet Athletics Club	Every Tuesday (6pm - 7.30pm)	Join Thanet athletics Club this Summer in a range of track and field athletics sessions. All events, all abilities from 8+ years welcome. Joss Bay Surf School	Surf hire throughout the Summer	Have fun in the Sun with Joss Bay Surf School. Surf & Kayak hire available throughout the Summer including, lessons from professional coaches and group sessions for community groups. For more information visit joss bay surf school
Manston Golf Centre	Sessions/ coaching throughout the Summer	Swing into action at Manston Golf Centre this Summer with the Junior Open Day on Saturday 23rd July. FREE 1 hour session for ages 4 - 15 from 9am-12pm & 12pm-2pm. For more Summer offers visit Manston Golf Centre
Generation Sports	Sessions/ coaching throughout the Summer	Generation Sports provide a range of term and half term activities for young people in Thanet. Located at the Ursuline Sports College they provide a range of activities and courses to keep young people fit and healthy. For more information visit Generation Sports

Lark in the Park	Saturday 23rd July - Sunday 7th August	Lark in the park is a community event run by local churches in Sidcup and Ramsgate during the Summer. Located at government acre there is a range of activities for the whole family including, skating, art & crafts, evening entertainment including Britain's got talent and much more.
