Free parking initiatives in Thanet

To help support Thanet's town centres, local businesses and visitors, Thanet District Council has introduced free parking schemes in selected car parks in Thanet.

Saturday parking

Parking on a Saturday is FREE at four car parks in Thanet.

These are:

• Leopold Street multi-storey - Ramsgate
• Mill Lane multi-storey - Margate
• Harold Road - Cliftonville
• Vere Road - Broadstairs

Parking in these car parks will be free of charge at any time, every Saturday.

Alternative Birchington scheme

A parking scheme is also in place in Albion Road, Birchington which allows 30 minutes free parking when a ticket is obtained from the machine and displayed.

This applies seven days a week.
