Even more visitors are expected in Margate again for this free annual festival which offers two days of exciting street entertainment, live music, thrilling flying displays, a food and drink village and much more.

Margate's Big Event made its debut in 2007 and immediately fulfilled its promise of becoming Kent’s leading air and land festival.

This year’s festival will take place on 19 and 20 June at Palm Bay in Margate.  Once again the trading hours will be between 10am and 10pm on Saturday and from 10am to 6pm on Sunday.

Last years footfall was estimated at around 95,000 over the two days and we have every reason to believe that in its fourth year the crowds will increase.  Prices are being held at a reasonable rate for 2010 (i.e., £350 per 3 square metres ) with the bonus that VAT is not payable on this site.

Whether you are a large or small exhibitor we can provide you with a site to suit your needs in all the main areas giving literally thousands of people the opportunity to visit your stand. 

How do you apply?

Reserving a stand is easy.

Simply download an application form from this site complete and email to events@thanet.gov.uk or post to the address shown on the form. Payment for your space can be made over the telephone using any of the major credit or debit cards or you can enclose a cheque with your application.

Marketing and promotion

Our high profile marketing campaign is backed by a comprehensive PR strategy targeting national press, radio and TV.  Our promotions are scheduled to reach an estimated one million people in the weeks prior to the event.
