On Wednesday 10 September, East Kent local authorities are
hosting an open day bringing together small and medium sized
enterprises and key procurement decision makers within the east
Kent area. Come along and meet representatives from Canterbury,
Shepway, Dover and Thanet Councils plus several other major local
contractors. Find out who are the best people to get in touch with
and pick up information about upcoming local construction
opportunities.

The venue
East Kent Meet the Buyer 2008 is being
held at Kent County Cricket Ground, Old Dover Road, Canterbury,
Kent, CT1 3NZ. The ground can be found easily from the M20 or
M2
or via rail and bus links.
By car from the north
- From M20 junction 7, turn left onto
A249.
- At M2 junction 5 (Sittingbourne) bear
right onto M2.
- At junction 7 (Boughton Street) turn
right on to A2 and follow signs to Canterbury town centre.
- Follow the A2 to junction with A2050,
turn left and follow yellow signs to the cricket ground.
By car from the south
- From M20 junction 13 bear right onto
A20.
- Follow this road to junction with
A260.
- Bear left and continue to junction
with A2 (north).
- Continue to junction with A2050 and
then proceed as
- per north directions.
Rail and bus links
Alternatively, if you are traveling by
public transport, the nearest main line railway station is
Canterbury East, which is 1 mile away, or Canterbury West which is
1.5 miles from outside the ground or the 339 from Canterbury city
centre.
