The south-east of England will begin to switch over to the new digital signal from 8 February 2012.

The switchover help scheme

For older and disabled viewers who may find making the switch difficult, the BBC-run Switchover Help Scheme is at hand to provide everything you need to switch one TV set to digital.

If you are an older person or have disabilities you may qualify for the switchover help scheme.
