- Your main earner has lost their job, or had their hours reduced

- You are struggling after recent benefit changes
- Your family is overcrowded
- Your landlord has served notice on you to leave your home
- You have had notice to leave the family home
- Other housing problem
The Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 was implemented on 03 April 2018 and this has transformed the way homelessness services are delivered to ensure that all eligible applicants faced with homelessness within 56 days are provided with essential prevention advice and assistance for 56 days. The Act places new legal duties on the council to give people meaningful support to help resolve their homelessness and customers will be offered personal housing plan to enable this to happen.
