Press, media and the council

The Communications Team at Thanet District Council is the first point of contact for all general media, news and communications enquiries.

It is responsible for issuing news releases and providing comments related to council services to the media.

This office also manages requests for TV, radio and press interviews for the Leader, Cabinet and senior officers.

The team is available to assist with media enquiries Tuesday to Thursday, 9am to 5:30pm and Fridays 9am to 5pm.
