Your first step - contact us!

The Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 was implemented on 03 April 2018 and this has transformed the way homelessness services are delivered to ensure that all eligible applicants faced with homelessness within 56 days are provided with essential prevention advice and assistance for 56 days.  The Act places new legal duties on the council to give people meaningful support to help resolve their homelessness and customers will be offered personal housing plan to enable this to happen.

If you think you are in threat of being homeless then please click on the triage tool below.  This will provide the Housing Options Service with essential information and we will then aim to contact you for an appointment within 10 working days.
