Addressing the housing needs of our community

Thanet District Council recognises that access to good quality housing, which people can afford, is key to achieving sustainable communities and making somewhere a good place to live.

We will ensure that there is a range of good quality housing available across the district to meet the diverse needs and aspirations of our residents.

Housing Strategy 2012-2016

The Housing Strategy for Thanet provides a framework for how Thanet District Council will work with partners to address the housing and related support needs of people living in the district.  As well as delivering services directly, the Housing Strategy can provide leadership and guidance to partners and stakeholders.
