Tikspac FREE Dog Waste Bags

Tikspac launches in Thanet

Thanet District Council has worked in Partnership with Tikspac to install 30 free dog waste bag dispensers around our parks and open spaces.

Tikspac are a Swedish company who specialise in getting local authorities and companies to work together to make clean public spaces.

Tikspac promotes the idea that leaving dog waste behind is unacceptable, and acts as a reminder to residents of their responsibilities to help keep our open spaces clean.

The dispensers and bags are provided for free to the local authority, and the concept is financed by local businesses’ sponsorship. You can see on the dispensers which local busineses have supported the project.
