Trinity Square

This property has been within Thanet Council’s housing stock for a number of years. It has been subject to a number of internal issues which have necessitated major refurbishment works.
The property was decanted in 2014 in preparation for major works to take place.

Character and appearance

The building is a Victorian four storey terraced property. When originally built it would have been used as one family home. It was subsequently converted into two maisonettes.

The building is listed and therefor of historical interest.  This has been an important consideration during the improvement works.

Renovation work

This property has been refurbished and re-let as one 1-bedroomed maisonette, and one 2-bedroomed maisonette. Both units will be retained by the Council and managed by East Kent Housing.

Works were undertaken by Standage & Co Ltd and included:

  • Improved internal condition
  • Repairs to windows
  • New kitchens and bathrooms
  • Renewals to roof
  • Full internal insulation
  • Improved outside amenity areas

Works were completed in February 2017.
