Epple Bay

Brief description

This is a tiny sandy bay with a chalk reef which is hidden behind chalk cliffs. There is a large area of grass at the top of the cliff.  Access is via a cobbled slope on one side and a steep set of steps on the eastern side of the bay. This secluded bay has sea walls on two sides and part of the eastern side of the bay.  The access to the sand is by a concrete slope.

Small crews – Free on-street parking available on Epple Bay Avenue. This is limited due to the width of the roads in this area.  Depending on weather conditions it may be possible to park on the grassed area.
