Cllr Liz Green steps down from council
Councillor Liz Green has today (Wednesday 9 February 2022) resigned as a councillor.
As a result of her resignation, a vacancy is automatically created and Full Council does not need to declare the vacancy. As such, the extraordinary meeting scheduled for 6.30pm on Thursday 10 February 2022 has been cancelled.
A Notice of Vacancy will be displayed at the council office and on the council’s website from Thursday 10 February 2022. Following this, a Notice of Election will be displayed and a by-election will be held within 35 working days.
